Bürkert Biotech GmbH - a new memeber of the Burkert group

Bürkert Biotech GmbH, a branch within the Bürkert group, has assumed assets and activities of Robolux AB. With this step Bürkert succeeds in further expanding its comprehensive range of products and systems and strengthens its position in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and water treatment sectors.
Bengt Sahlin, Managing Director of Robolux, says "it is great to become a part of a large organisation that can exploit the full potential of the Robolux design, i. e. to combine two shut-off valves in one valve body. This will give us a chance to find new applications and markets such as Food & Beverage and also cover new countries".
Mike Rodd, who will be in charge of the implementation of the Robovalve products, is excited about this step as well, stating that "this acquisition gives us a unique patented mulitway valve which we can integrate into our existing product portfolio to give our customer efficient process and system solutions".
